Intelligent sun control solutions
Seminar (1 hour), Hunter Douglas
Sun control is a sustainable solution designed to help building operators manage internal temperatures, as well as light and glare levels. Today’s intelligent sun control systems also offer huge design potential, with static, dynamic, or automated systems that move intuitively to control thermal gain.

Internal solar shading and automation

Discusses how to achieve optimum solar protection from heat and glare, what screencloths do and how performance fabrics work, and how colour and openness factor affect performance. Also covers the different types of motorisation and automation available, including real-time window management systems which automatically adjust shade position according to the Sun’s position, while maximising daylight and views.

This seminar focuses on solar shading using of interior window blinds.
